Gayà rallies VCF ahead of San Sebastian showdown

A busy schedule for Valencia CF means that, following the draw against SD Huesca at Mestalla this past Saturday, the next challenge is on the horizon. The team head to San Sebastian on Tuesday to play Real Sociedad, in search of a return to winning ways against the Basque side.
In the last 9 visits to the Reale Arena, Valencia CF have won just twice. That, and the dissatisfaction with the Matchday 3 result, is all the motivation that club captain José Luis Gayà needs.
Taking to social media just under 24 hours before kickoff, the fullback posted: "Tomorrow we have the opportunity to change the bad feeling we had about Saturday. More united than ever. Let's go team!"
Valencia CF are in the midst of a three-game run in the space of a week, which concludes with a home fixture against Betis at Mestalla on Saturday.
